Hey! We're Alyssa, Kurt, Hayden & Bodhi – a little family with a big dream from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. It wasn’t until we had our very own golden retriever that we understood the craze of pet apparel. We totally get it now.
Bodes is a Canadian-based brand specializing in modern handmade dog apparel (and more!)
What inspired us to start this little venture? In January of 2020, we welcomed Bodhi into our family and had a hard time finding bandanas for male pups within Canada—who knew?!
So with that in mind, Alyssa dug out her 25+ year old sewing machine and we started sourcing some minimal, boho-inspired fabrics that were gender neutral (with mix of cute and quirky prints here and there, of course).
